A Non Profit (abbreviated NPO, also not-for-profit) is an organization that does not distribute its surplus funds to owners or shareholders, but instead uses them to help pursue its goals. Examples of NPOs include charities (i.e., charitable organizations), trade unions, and public arts organizations and governments.
A Corporation is an institution that is granted a charter recognizing it as a separate legal entity having its own rights, privileges, and liabilities distinct from those of its members. There are many different forms of corporations, most of which are used to conduct business.
A Small Business is a business that is privately owned and operated, with a small number of employees and relatively low volume of sales. Small Businesses are normally privately owned corporations, partnerships, or sole proprietorships.
